going on this C2C project, the kids there taught me how to
appreciate the simplicities in life and also not to take
anything we have here in Singapore for granted.
C2C gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in the simple yet joyful life in Bohol.

wonderful aspect of this project is the chances to work
with diversified group. Working with them makes me think
out of the box, accept different working styles and try new
things and learn their different set of values.
I seldom have the chance to do Singapore songs and
dances and that particular night did stir up my feelings
towards Singapore. They made me love Singapore better and
made me proud of my country.
made all sweats even more worthwhile was the kids' smiling
and telling you that everything you do is great. We may not
speak the same language but a hug or a thumbs-up really
perks our days.
Like my previous expedition trip, it has always
evoked a self-discovery of how fortunate I am in, and not
taking things around for granted. Thus, nothing beats
better than placing oneself to experience the life around
and view the world with an open eye.

to realize how we have been neglecting the learning process
of anything that we've been doing. It is probably because
we were constantly under pressure to produce results and
forced to be under the impression that only the outcome
matters in the society. This trip had been one of the rare
chances I was able to fully enjoy the process of doing
